Nobody is aware of who she was, only she was different. A teenager from more than 50,000 years back of such strange uniqueness she seemed to be a’ hybrid’ ancestor to modern humans that researchers had not witnessed before.
Researchers discovered proof she was not alone, just recently. In a 2019 study examining the complicated mess of mankind’s past, researchers used artificial intelligence (AI) to recognize an unknown human ancestor species which modern humans encountered – and shared friendships with – on the long journey out of Africa millennia ago.
“About 80,000 years back, the so called Out of Africa came about, when a portion of the human population, which previously consisted of modern people, quit the African continent and moved to various other continents, resulting in all the present populations,” explained evolutionary biologist Jaume Bertranpetit of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Spain.
